RARE SOLO album from the leader of Mountain. In common with the musical direction of Mountain, the style here is still very much hard rock with a smattering of blue eyed soul best exemplified on his blistering interpretation of 'House Of The Rising Sun', arguably the defintive version of this perenial classic. Elsewhere Leslie gets his jollies off by laying down the law with mainly choice covers (of which Free's 'Little Bit Of Love' stands out) and one erstwhile Mountain co-write with drummer Corky Laing. Look out too for contributions from Mick Jagger - primarilly on two Rolling Stones covers; 'High Roller' and 'Honky Tonnk Women'. A truly great and wewll executed album from this brilliant guitarist - perhaps the best America has ever produced.  

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: RCA, USA, 1975

Vinyl: Nice clean condition. No spindle marks and no other signs of use. Grades as top archive MINT!

Cover: No signs of use - still in original shrink wrap! Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and uncrushed. Impossible to find like this. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
