Description
Lester Young: Pres Box aka Live and Private Recordings in Chronological Order / Private Pressing, Italy, 1987; #284/500
An Ex/P 22 LP set of L.Y. tracks. The LPs are mono, contain approximately 180 tracks (about 20 minutes per side or 14.5 hours of music), feature a track listing on side 2 and a portrait of L.Y. on side 1. The set also includes a sleeved 7" ("Just a Little South of North Carolina" b/w "Pennies from Heaven") and a 16pp. booklet on heavier stock paper containing an illustrated chronology of Pres's recordings. The records are Ex: very clean, very glossy with bright and undamaged labels; 4 hairlines and a few very light scuff lines noted - some very soft and dismissable ticks to 2 sides, but that's all. The 7" has a clean B side but a scratch, pop, and light static to the A side. The booklet is clean and solid with light soiling to a few margins and to the covers. The box is Poor: solid enough for transport and housing but damaged and soiled (see the images). Limited to 500 copies pressed, this is #284.

For the US, we usually prefer to ship everything USPS priority mail or first class with a delivery confirmation number. Priority mail offers average 2-3 days delivery of shipment. Other methods of shipping are available upon request. Postcards, photos, and flat items will be shipped priority mail for best service. We will ship worldwide. PLEASE NOTE:international buyers please be aware of currency exchanges and we will assess shipping rates accordingly. If there are specific exporting problems involving the item that you won, let us know about this ahead of time please. For international buyers any additional costs, such as tax or duties will be incurred by the customer.
