Description
Extremely rare copy of "Pres and Teddy" LP Verve Records Clef Series MGV-8205 in mono. The original record was released in 1956; the record continued to be released in the Verve catalog between 1960-66 after Verve was acquired by MGM Records in 1961; the label has the MGM logo on it indicating this is a 1960-66 issue; the jacket has no mention of MGM so I believe they continued to use the original Verve jackets with the later releases (see photos).
The vinyl is in "NM" condition with excellent sheen and rainbow highlights in the original Verve paper sleeve; the record has never been played; I am not rating it "M" because it is not a sealed LP (see photos).
The jacket is extremely clean and has no edgewear, ringwear or seam splits; there is a promo stamp on the back (see photos).
Grading is based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
