Kingston hijinks from Barrington Levy; he was still in his early 20s when this six-track LP first landed in 1981, pinning his voice to the cathedral door of soundsystem movements of the time. Recorded with the Roots Radics at full force and mixed by Scientist, it's rammo in the main room, being the first, formative stretch of Levy's output before crossover success smoothed the edges. Three tunes blare in extended form with dub counterparts, rhythms served room to breathe and buckle. 'Full Understanding' was later a fixture in Jah Shaka's sessions, though the record wound up scarce after its original issue, so this reappearance uses new stampers cut from the original mothers.
