This is a rare UK 1st press of Lightnin’ Hopkins Saga self titled 1966 LP. This vinyl is pressed with the black Saga Stereo scroll label with bright silver text and solid matt black. The vinyl is complete with the original plain inner sleeve and fully laminated flipback sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. The vinyl is exceptionally bright, with the original jet black gloss. There is one small mark on Side One and a couple of other light marks. The matt black is superb, exceptionally bold and bright. When played the sound is extremely bold and rich. There is some occasional noise and a couple of clicks on the mark. Otherwise it plays through well and can be enjoyed from start to finish.
The vinyl is complete with the original Saga company inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The laminated sleeve is in Very Good condition. The laminate has an Excellent gloss, the colours are bright and the black is solid. The sleeve has a little light edge wear but it is still solid. The flipbacks are intact and complete and the original Stereo and Mono sticker is bright and clean.
