Up for sale from 1960 Lightnin' Slim"Rooster Blues" Excello LP-8000.This is one of the most sought after blues record in the business,and a must for all serious blues collectors.COVER is in VG Cond.Has bottom split about 1/2 way from opening,and top appears to have been glued together at one time.Spine is better and can still read the title.Cover itself has shelf wear and spotting from age,with 2 tiny tears on bottom back where liner sheet was pasted and not interfering with any words about a 1/2".Overall not bad at all with no writing.RECORD is VG++ with 3 scratches none feelable and some very light hairlines,has 4 tiny manufacturing bubbles that do not effect play.I played this and plays great with a little surface noise.I have owned other Excello records like Slim Harpo and they pretty much all play noiser then they look,on this one the music hides any noise at all except the quiet passages.I describe my records much worse than it is so that the winner will be more than satisfied.This album is "killer"swamp, harp, electic blues at it's best.Good Luck And Thanks For Looking !..
