But in spite of her blonde ambition (demonstrated on "I'm Human," a "Vogue"-esque tribute to the other material girl), the Queen Bee maintains her thug-ette aesthetic. Her beats (provided by an assortment of dance-floor-friendly producers) may be slick, but the rhymes are rough, rugged, and raw. Lil' Kim proved her post-Biggie microphone prowess with a take-no-prisoners cameo on Mobb Deep's "Quiet Storm (remix)". Here she continues her reign. Tracks like "Who's Number One?" where she reps for hometown Brooklyn, and "Notorious KIM," where she denounces ex-pal Foxy Brown, demonstrate her lyrical skills, which transcend the sex-centric niche market that she dominates. Notorious K.I.M. builds on the foundation created by her cheeky debut, Hard Core, with more freakiness than Penthouse's letters page. She also gets macho male rappers on their knees with "Suck My D*ck," in which she turns the sexual tables on males like those from N.W.A. All around, this album is pure hotness with very few (if any) weak spots and shows that not only is Lil' Kim sexy as hell, but she's a force on the microphone without doubt. Definitely a must-have for any true DJ or hip-hop fan out there... so grab it now!!!Released in 2000, this album is now long out of print and is impossible to find these days on vinyl. Comes in full picture sleeve as shown above! Don't sleep... you won't see this rare gem again!! Grab it today before it's gone!!
