LILI'S CHILDREN: Uncle Njo/Trip Eyes (Xilovox 140978, HOLLAND 1978)
Yes, I know...released in 1978 (!!), but this sounds like 1970-1971 or so! A Moluccan group from Breda. “Uncle Njo” is great funky psych with loads of wah-wah guitar! The B-s. “Trip Eyes” is an incredible uptempo acid fuzz psych rocker! The A-s. has some badly looking scratches, but plays surprisingly well, with only some minor clicks here and there. The B-s. is a solid VG+. Overall I'd grade this record as VG. A very hard to find 45 on the private (??) Xilovox label. First spare copy I ever had!
