Description

You are bidding on LINCOLN MAYORGA & DISTINGUISHED COLLEAGUES RECORDED DIRECTLY TO MASTER DISC.

This is on Sheffield Lab S9

Cover is VG with 8 inch bottom seam split.

Visually vinyl is a very glossy VG++ with a few light scuff marks and a few light superficial hairline scratches.

This direct to disc recording was done in a rental studio in Los Angeles in 1971, prior to moving the Sheffield Lab to their permanent studios in Santa Barbara in the late 1970's. It was recorded directly to disc (LP) and as thus removes any mid-recording transfers which result in clear, realistic sound.  The front image of the LP shows the type of lathe equipment that the album was cut on.

This was the first Direct to Disc recording made by Sheffield Lab and extremely rare and does not come up for auction very often.

Buyer pays $8  shipping to the US or $18   overseas.

Check my other auctions for more collectible, rock, jazz and classical LP's and save on shipping costs.

I can ship up to records for $12 to the US or $25 overseas.

Canadian shipping is $11 for 1 record and $13 up to 5 records.

I will only ship  to China with a tracking number which would cost $65.00
