LINDA HOYLE - PIECES OF ME
1971 stereo UK original first pressing LP on swirl label. Catalogue number 6360060. Matrix numbers: Side one: 1Y//1 420 112 Side two: 2Y//1 420 119 Gatefold sleeve with swirl inner sleeve. One of the rarest Vertigo swirls. RECORD CONDITION: VERY GOOD. The vinyl has a deep glossy shine and both labels are in excellent condition with only a couple of faint spindle traces visible. I noted a small mark on side one, track one. On side two, track three I saw some longitudinal marks running in the same direction as the record groove and a very fine scratch near the end of the track.
SLEEVE CONDITION: VERY GOOD. The gatefold sleeve shows some rubbing to the front and rear, and shelfwear on both top and bottom edges. There is some wear and light creasing to each corner. The inside of the gatefold shows minor marking at the lower outer edges. Otherwise the sleeve is clean, without tears, stains or writing and the spine is intact and uncompressed with all text clearly legible. The swirl inner is excellent showing only some minor age discolouration.
AUDIO GRADING: I play grade records fully using a high quality moving coil cartridge. There is some light crackle and a few light clicks on side one at the start of the first track. Side two, track three clicks towards the end of the track. Background noise is low with just the occasional soft pop evident elsewhere on the LP. There was no mistracking during playback and the rest of the LP plays very well with strong, distortion free sound.
Records are graded to Record Collector Grading System definitions.
PACKING: All records are cleaned on a professional quality record cleaning machine and placed into a new poly-lined inner sleeve. The original inner will be included. Record covers are put into a pvc outer sleeve and the record removed from the cover to prevent seam splits. The record will be posted in a new cruciform record box with additional stiffeners.
