PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REVISION ON PRODUCT CONDITION

The original ad was placed on visual observation only (I no longer have a turntable!). However following many emails concerning quality, I arranged to hear it this morning (on a high quality £20k Linn system). My revised views are as follows:

The cover has wear on the top & bottom edges, & some on a 3 inch section of the front edge of the spine which I tried to capture on the photos. There is also a soft 3.5" crease on rear lower cover close to the spine, but otherwise cover is OK. The album title on the spine is perfectly readable.

The album is not warped - Virtually no spindle marks on label.

In normal daylight the surface looks perfect. In brilliant sunlight there are some scuff marks, probably of the vinyl entering & leaving the inner sleeve. They look superficial.

In terms of reproduction, there are crackles throughout, but no recurrent scratches, or jumps.

It does not warrant the Near Mint rating originally offered which was based on visual assessment only.

I am genuinely trying to accurately portray the album’s quality. There was never an intention to oversell the LP or its condition, so if the original description was misleading then apologies.

Despite my disappointment, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the album by a rare gem of a singer, and would still rate it as collectable.

Any further questions please email me, especially if there are bids which may otherwise not have been made.

As a footnote, I also listened to the AFFINITY LP I have for sale at present. Repro Quality was absolutely superb (and this 36 years old!)

Yours sincerely – Mike Pearson  :  March 27th.
