Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS. 

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --LINDA HOYLE--PIECES OF ME--UK ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING. 1971, stereo 6360 060 The 59th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This delicate un-laminated surface is showing it's age and a couple of battle scars, and I would not normaly offer any thing in this condition for sale but it is SO VERY VERY RARE.    It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong . The top edges are EX-, the bottom edges are EX. The front is EX with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKERS AND NO STAINS just a small amount of surface rub and very light creases, there is also evidence of a small sticker removal(top right) that has been touched in. The rear  is in VG+ condition with some very obvious creasing to the bottom left corner. The inner gatefold is graded as VG+ there is a repair to a torn and creased area(bottom right) PLEASE SEE THE DETAILED PICTURES BELOW . The opening edges are in lovely condition with the small tear well mended and no feathering. There is  almost NO spine wear and the information is fully readable. There is wear to the very tips of the corners. This album comes with an ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE . Not too bad condition for a 36year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve. VG+.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. There is ONLY 1 spindle mark on either side,  this album has obviously always been handled with great care N/MINT N/MINT

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY FEW, VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which were caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is  MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There areVERY VERY FEW dust crackles that can be heard only in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX++/EX++ VERY NICE INDEED
