Matrix numbers – A-1-1 and B-1-1 – this album is so rare I don’t believe any further pressings were made.
Record made in – EU
Scan of actual item? – yes, I have tried to show with my worthless camera the tear on the fold-out poster but it’s too small to show up.
Comments – Don’t miss this opportunity to buy a near mint first pressing of this rare Linda and Paul album, complete with inner sleeve sporting grey and white prairie photos; plus the sosmewhat curious fold-out poster.
You have to look very carefully to find any blemishes at all to this archive-quality example.
The vinyl is pristine and looks unplayed without any marks or scratches. The labels too are pristine without any spindle marks whatsoever.
The matt sleeve is pretty much straight out of the factory as is the inner sleeve, though in a certain light you will see a couple of thumb creases.
The very thin paper poster some 16 inches square, is perfect except (RATS!) for a one centimetre tear along one of the bottom edge folds.
Tracks - Wide Prairie, New Orleans, The White Coated Man, Love's Full Glory, I Got Up, The Light Comes From Within, Mister Sandman, Seaside Woman, Oriental Nightfish, Endless Days, Poison Ivy, Cow ,B-Side To Seaside , Sugartime, Cook of the House, Appaloosa.
This is the posthumous solo album from Linda McCartney, compiled and released by Paul after Linda's tragic death. The 16-track solo album features 13 original songs written by Linda as well as three cover versions. The album is a personal collection of songs, providing a glimpse into Linda's diverse personality. ‘On Cow and White Coated Man' Linda stands up for animal rights, where ‘Seaside Woman' has a fun, reggae inspired feel.
Paul, who produced the album, sings backing vocals and plays a variety of instruments.
The record is housed in a slightly creased plain white poly-lined inner sleeve for added protection and the whole is in a clear plastic sleeve. Sorry foreign collectors this is not for you – this is available UK only.
BIDDERS FROM UK ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS

RETURNS – refunds are only made after the item is returned to me by recorded delivery within seven days of your receipt of it and if there is a major fault not explained in the listing, such as skipping or jumping.
FOREIGN BUYERS do not bid (due to the problem of dishonest buyers and as the cost of providing a tracking number is too high - £12+). Do not email, do not ask, do not waste my time. The answer is no, got it? No.
* Gradings – I grade items VISUALLY ONLY according to Record Collector rules – mint, excellent, very good, good and fair. However I do play the start of each side to test for crackles and also try out anything vaguely iffy.
I do not go into 500-word flights of ecstasy about the wonderfulness of my items – rest assured by gradings are strict and SO IF I SAY MINT I MEAN MINT! I have collected vinyl for 40 years and I understand fully the needs of fellow collectors and what gradings mean.
MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.
V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.
FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
