Description
- Linda Ronstadt released her sixth solo record "Prisoner In Disguise" in September 1975 on Asylum Records. It contains three hit singles "Love Is A Rose," "Tracks Of My Tears," and "Heatwave." It was produced by Peter Asher and special guests included Andrew Gold, James Taylor, Lowell George, Emmylou Harris, J.D. Souther, David Lindley, and Russ Kunkel.
- This copy (7E-1045) is from the first pressing and is in excellent condition. It still has its original factory shrink wrap and so easily grades VG+. Please see the pictures but note the photos of the interior gatefold are from another copy. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Doug Sax at The Mastering Lab in Los Angeles and was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched S 7E 1045-A 2 CSM TML-S J except TML-S which is stamped.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 45 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
