(with drummer's name incorrectly credited as Isengourd Knhon, instead of Knhor)

Founded by enigmatic Quebec poet Raoul Duguay and classically-trained saxophonist Walter Boudreau as an experimental contemporary jazz-rock orchestra workshop, this is l'Infonie's coveted self-titled debut album (also known as, "Vol 3", after their subsequent 3 LP's were titled "Vol 33", "Vol 333" and finally "Vol 3333" respectively).

Produced by, and recorded at André Perry's famed studio in Montreal (before it was moved to Morin Heights), this is avant-garde mahem, improvisations, and free-form jazz rock at it's eclectic best !

All Music Guide:  "In the early '70s, L'Infonie was the leader of the countercultural movement in Montreal.   The band's complex compositions and propensity for free improvisation, coupled with its stage antics and pop-spiritual philosophy, make it the cult band in the history of the Montreal avant-garde music.    Its four long-deleted LPs remained items much sought after by collectors all over the world ".
