Walter Brown with the Tiny Grimes Sextet

Side A: "Open The Door, Richard." Sticker on label. Released on the Signature label in February 1947, then recalled after most radio staions banned Walter Brown's version of "Open The Door, Richard" on March 1st of that year because of some "allegedly blue lyrics." Now you can listen for yourself on the clip above. This record is very rare and holds its own place in blues history.


Side B: "My Second Best Woman"

Condition of the record is very good with a few light marks, no deep scratches. Plays well.

Complete with paper sleeve. Sleeve has some damage along edges.
