Description
This is a 1964 first mono 2nd variant pressing of Introducing... The Beatles, on the brackets Vee-Jay label.
It is dated under the deadwax matrix code,
2 - 6 - 64.
The matrix code: 63-3402 -1
Pressing plant: URJ (as written in the deadwax)
The cover is in pretty nice condition. Cardboard is pretty thick, and theres no seam splits but one small one on the top where the record slides in and out of. If you buy this, and you would like it taped, just send a message. The spine has no tearage and can be read fine. Most wear is shown on images. The record is in VG/VG+ condition. Is scratchy, though the surface noise is not too loud at all. Does not skip. The only part of the record that has slightly louder surface noise, is the first half of Please, Please Me on side two. This is a nice listening copy to have of the record.
Cool part about it: It has a fairly known misprint, in which under Chains, for the songwriting credits, should be (Goffin - King), but here it shows (Coffin - King). Pretty cool. Another casual thing to notice, this was made right as Beatlemania started, so you'll notice instead of (Lennon - McCartney), it's (McCartney - Lennon) on their songwriting credits.
