For the first time on vinyl, Little Axe's 2002 masterpiece is back and the blues-dub fusion of guitarist Skip McDonald (who has worked with The Sugarhill Gang, Tackhead and On-U Sound) sounds stunning as ever. A smoky, hypnotic blend of Delta soul and Adrian Sherwood's dubbed-out production, this record drifts through ghostly vocals, swampy grooves and McDonald's understated yet spellbinding guitar work. A dreamy, hazy album, it's an ageless voyage through blues, dub and moody ambience. Originally released on Fat Possum Records, this new edition was expertly edited for vinyl by Sherwood and re-cut by Frank Merritt at The Carvery.
