Little Feat's mid-70s recordings show the band at their most fluid, moving between swampy grooves, sly soul and sharp-edged rock with ease. Anchored by Lowell George's vivid songwriting, the set includes gems like 'One Love Stand', later covered by Carly Simon, and the aching 'Long Distance Love', a song Elvis Costello would revisit for a George tribute. Alongside the studio versions are unreleased outtakes and demos that strip the band back to their bones, revealing just how instinctive their interplay was. A full live show from Boston captures their other side - loose, fiery and expansive - confirming why this era remains the definitive chapter in their story.
