Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1964 U.S. SELECT RECORDS 45 containing the soulful tunes titled 'Take The Bitter With the Sweet'/'I'm Hurt And So Is My Heart' from soul songstress Little Gigi. It is Select Records catalog number 45K-731, and appears to be a RARE ITEM which has not been offered on eBay either at auction or at fixed price sale during the past month as far as I can tell. 'Take The Bitter With The Sweet' is midtempo and danceable, 'I'm Hurt And So Is My Heart' is a deep soul ballad. Condition of record is a high VG+ with all original gloss and a few surface marks, most of which are concentric with the grooves and probably resulted from light jukebox use, which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Record plays very nicely with almost no surface noise. As shown in the accompanying image, labels have a little wear around the center hole and a little contact wear, with no writing, tears, stickers, or any other problems. A scarce addition to any 1960s soul 45 record collection!
