OK, so you already know that Volume 1 of this album (released by Chess in 1959) is - easily one of the top-10 blues albums of all time (myself, I think I would say it is #4).

Ah, but wait…did you also know that there wasVolume 2. released in Japan that was never released in the United States (or, for that matter, anywhere else),  that all but wipes the  floor with the Volume 1?

You did not?!? Shucks! Well, consider yourself educated.  Hear this, the second volume and you will understand why Little Walter was the greatest Blues harp artist in the history of the genre.

These Japanese hi-grade , virgin-vinyl, extended-dynamic range vinyl pressings - while they were imported  in the 1970's and early 1980's - were audiophile and connoisseur delights  (we   have not  seen some of these titles in circulation in years – some of them are highly collectible). These majestic recordings received an  intense, meticulous and laborious treatment like very few other recordings did.   They are characterized by the boosted dynamic and frequency range, almost compulsive attention paid to the fine detail and integrity of the pressing and highest quality  of the material. Many of  these recordings remain unsurpassed, delivering music  reproduction as close to  the actual recording session as possible. In the best tradition of some of the major Japanese corporations -  such as RCA Victor Co. (Nippon),  Warner-Pioneer Corporation of Japan or EMI-Toshiba Corporation  -  the sound quality of the Japanese pressings is, generally,  truly extraordinary - much better, we firmly believe, than the corresponding first pressings of the albums in question.

THE RECORD COMES IN A METICULOUSLY REPLICATED ORIGINAL COVER, DELICATE PVC-INNER SLEEVE  RESEMBLING FINE (RICE PAPER) INNER SLEEVE, LYRICS AND ALBUM  DATA INSERT. SORRY, THE ALBUM DOES NOT COME WITH "OBI"(JAPANESE PAPER RIBBON WITH ALBUM INFO, USUALLY WRAPPED AROUND THE COVER).

(a)          THE VINYL IS ABSOLUTELY, PERFECTLY MINT,  as if never played before. The original luster is totally intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles like brand new. The labels look perfect, simply gorgeous, with absolutely no trace of wear around the spindle hole. The record is TOTAL PERFECTION - ABSOLUTE VISUAL NIRVANA! We are confident that, in this condition, the record we present here is truly once-in-a-lifetime find.

(b)          The album comes with the original Japanese insert

(c)           The records are STILL in their original inner, hi-grade PVC inner sleeves, which have - apparently with success - shielded the vinyl from the harmful impact of elements over many years!

(d)          The record is pressed on a beautiful, high-quality, virgin-grade vinyl, which is usually used for audiophile, extended-dynamic-range, half-speed mastered and connoisseur pressings.

(e)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

-        Back cover has a small distributor’s sticker /label, which may be possible to remove with a little effort (we did not attempt to)
