Best of Little Walter is the first LP record by American blues performer Little Walter, first released in the US in 1958.
As with most blues artists before the mid-1960s, Little Walter was a singles artist. The US issue was the only album released during his lifetime and included ten of his charting singles, plus two B-sides.
Artwork and packaging
The album cover features a photo portrait shot by Grammy award winning photographer Don Bronstein of Little Walter holding/playing a Hohner 64 Chromatic harmonica. In the US it was a black & white photo, whereas the UK issue was the same photo but with the black tinted blue.
The liner notes were by Studs Terkel, who had written Giants of Jazz.

The grading standard used is the UK Record Collector magazine gradings as described below
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
All items are securely packaged in purpose made mailers, with 2 cardboard stiffners, clearly marked fragile, with the record removed from the outer sleeve (to avoid sleeve splits whilst in transit) in a brand new polythene sleeve.
