Another from my personal collection of over 50,000 albums that I have collected over a period of more than 45 years! and only been played to initially record to tape and then stored away for over 45 years to keep this in absolutely stunning condition! On initial inspection the vinyl looks unplayed in my opinion the audio is stunning throughout and this plays with no loud clicks or pops no distortion,in fact absolutely perfect on my systems! Here for your self in the player below. Actual recording from the vinyl!

, The audio is graded as near as mint in my opinion! No Needle scratches or Marks that would cause any nasty loud constant clicks or pops!
The original 1st issue MacNeil Press printed cover is also superbe with no splits or tears just one small corner crease on the front bottom corner to mention but this unlaminated cover is in trully exceptional condition throughout in my opinion. Graded at least excellent plus in my opinion. 47 years old just try to find a better copy! Blues Archive! The Best sounding copy that I have heard!

One of the best ever blues guitarests in my opinion!

Live Taste is the third album and first live album by Irish rock band Taste, released in 1971.

It was recorded live at Montreux Casino and released shortly after the band broke up.

Taste is an Irish rock and blues band formed in 1966.

Its founder was songwriter and musician Rory Gallagher.

Taste (originally "The Taste") was formed in Cork, Ireland, in August 1966 as a trio consisting of Rory Gallagher on guitars and vocals, Eric Kitteringham on bass, and Norman Damery on drums.

In their early years Taste toured in Hamburg and Ireland before becoming regulars at Maritime Hotel, an R&B club in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In 1968 Taste began performing in the UK where the original lineup split up. The new lineup formed with Richard McCracken on bass and John Wilson on drums.

The new Taste moved permanently to London where they signed with the record label Polydor. In November 1968, the band, along with Yes, opened for Cream at Cream's farewell concerts.

While with Polydor, Taste began touring the United States and Canada with the British supergroup Blind Faith.

In April 1969, Taste released the first of their two studio albums, the self-titled Taste, with On the Boards following in early 1970, the latter showing the band's jazz influences with Gallagher playing saxophone on numerous tracks.

The Matrix

2310082  A-2 (Hand Etched Matrix)

2310082 B#2 (Machine Stamped)

The Vinyl

This is the original heavier and deeper grooved type of vinyl. On visual inspection this looks superbe in fact like a new vinyl in my opinion just like it had just came from the shop!! Any marks that could possibly be seen in strong light would only be light whispy sleeve removal scuffs/marks! (To be honest I struggle to see any at all, at least nothing that would cause any constant clicks or pops)

The Audio Quality

I have play tested this awesome looking vinyl at very loud volume on a top system (two times) prior to listing! This audio is absolutely superb throughout. Stunning audio seperation, Rich bassey feel only found like this on the earliest pressings with the earliest stampers! No  loud constant clicks or pops and certainly no distortion at all!  Near as Mint on my systems throughout! Without a dought the best sounding copy that i have heard!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd static/tick/pop (not consistant throughout the audio) This is a genuine vinyl (not a reissue) that is 47 years old and would have originally been played on a 47 year old system! In my opinion this will produce the very top audio throughout!!

The labels

These feature the original  Polydor labels (only 1st UK press1st label variation for this pressing) in awesome condition. I find it really hard to see any real spider traces at all, and spider traces that could perhapes or may possibly be seen would be barely one or two if looked for! This vinyl has obviously barely ever been played in my opinion., (no) spindle ware the hole is perfectly round! In fact you can even still see the original plastic in the spindle hole!

The cover

This is the original 1st issue ''MacNeil Press ltd''  printed Unlaminated cover! with (no) splits or tares (NO) splits or tares. No real nasty creases to talk of, amaizingly (no) nasty storage ware to the corners at all! (no) writing or nasty names! Strong and straight! Note: One small corner crease noted on the front bottom right hand corner to mention (not at the rear) but not really noticed unless looked for in my opinion.  This is the original so hard to find in this condition after 47 years!! Look No Ringwear that I can see! The original  pinched ended spine is lovely a square (Very rare like this) Very very rare to find like this after 47 years! The rear is lovely and clean.  I would grade this at least much better than excellent to excellent plus in my opinion!

The record sleeve

The original poly lined white sleeve (Correct for this issue) has just very few creasings/staining/fading with age only (no) splits or tares and is stored seperately from the vinyl!

A Blues Archive Copy Final Upgrade Quality In My Opinion.
