Description

LIVE WIRE #13~ 1978 Punk Fanzine

Rare Original 1978 London Punk Fanzine in just acceptable to good condition (see pics).
10pp A4 pages printed on Foolscap (8.5" x 13") one side only and not printed that well either.
There is no number on this issue but it must be #13 because Alan Anger, the editor, apologises in #14 that the last issue  "was so badly printed". The text is mostly OK but all the photos are washed out which is a bit surprising come issue 13 but then again, nearly all the Live Wires, certainly up to #17, have that DIY, dashed out cheap & wilfully amateurish quality to them - part of their charm, I guess.

Anyway, this one has Articles on: The Pleasers, The Crabs, The Dead live @ the Roxy, Levi & The Rockets live  @ the Music Machine; the views of Arturo Bassick (ex Lurkers); Car Crash live @ Chelsea College, 45s reviews, vote in the Live Wire Poll(Results appeared in #14) and Prof & the Proffettes.
