Description
Considered to be one of the Holy Grails of Rock LP's, this is "Live Yardbirds Featuring Jimmy Page". This is the absolute first pressing on the Epic label, E-30615.
This is the live performance by The Yardbirds at the Anderson Theater in New York City on March 30, 1968. Very shortly after the album's release Jimmy Page, unhappy with the way the record sounded secured an injunction and the album was quickly withdrawn. Consequently, true first pressings are very rare and very hard to find. There are many counterfeits, pirated issues and just plain fakes out there. There are a number of ways to determine a legitimate original first pressing, and here they are:
1. Originals have the catalog number, E-30615 machine stamped in the dead wax.
2. Original issues have full color art work on the front cover.
3. But most importantly absolute original first pressings must have the stamper designation 1A-1A MACHINE STAMPED in the dead wax.
The album offered here at auction has all of the above critically important features.
Once again, this is the ever so scarce original first issue released in 1971!

Side 2---Over Under Sideways Down--Drinking Muddy Water--Shapes Of Things--White Summer--I'm A Man.
Record Plays: Near Mint. Record surface, some superficial scuffs and scratches that in no way affect the great sound quality.
