Description
LIVERPOOL ECHO (same) Spark Records SRLM 2007 UK 1973. M-/M-. Rare Merseybeat revival effort with all-original and excellent songs in the classic style of 10 years earlier. The line-drawing pictures on the back bear more than a passing resemblance to 4 better known Liverpudlians who became quite famous at this sort of thing. There name appears on the cover. Similar to the Badfinger look-a-like attempt. They are Martin Briley, Dave Johns, Brian Engel and Keith Brown (no I haven't heard of them either). The back cover makes you wish you had the other releases in this series (Original Killing Floor, Duffy Power and the Artwoods to name but a few). This is the only copy I have ever seen. Rescued from a "Charity Shop" (aka Thrift Store) in Manchester earlier this year. Wasn't cheap as they price their records individually. Payment in $US cash, IMO, PO or PayPal. Standard Canada Post shipping rates anywhere. Usually $5 air to the USA and almost double overseas.
