Description
This hard-to-find example of late sixties UK jazz features ‘modern’ versions of Elizabethan melodies, played in a style which combines British jazz improvisation with Baroque flavours.
The record is visually very clean although there is a little bit of surface noise suggesting that something lurks deep in the grooves! There are a few minor surface marks and scuffs; there is one obvious one on Side 2 which starts at the beginning of Track 1 to the end of Track 6. There are hardly any discernible clicks as a result of this.
The labels are very clean with a few noticeable spindle marks.
The cover is in very good condition with no creases, tears or pen marks. Very little edge-wear or spine damage. Very slight corner damage. Foxing and slight scuffing on the reverse. It has the usual gold-foil CBS ‘Stereo’ sticker next to the logo and catalogue number.
Low starting price reflects these minor faults.
