Comes in original front laminated picture sleeve and comes complete with original plain paper inner sleeve.
This is vintage Reggae! This album is essential for anyone who's passionate about Jamaican music. Lots of names in Jamaican music have not been recognised, and Lloyd Charmers is one of them. He sang with Slim Smith and Jimmy Riley in the vocal group Uniques, and generated some great songs. Charmers only did backing vocals at the time, but the potential of his voice was shown in songs like "What Can I Of ". It was as a producer and player of keyboards, however, that Lloyd Charmers achieved his real success. He produced the albums of Ken Boothe, Dennis Brown, and Eric Donaldson, among others. This album, from 1969 on the Trojan label, (a golden year of reggae, BTW) brings instrumental arrangements that had been revolutionised by the rhythm of that time. Charmers rocks the piano and the Hammond B1, together with a great team, the Hippy Boys (Barrett Brothers, "Upsetters").

Vinyl has mild wear and light scuffs and generally plays excellent, although there are two minor faults which lower the condition grade a bit. There are a couple of mild scratch marks at the end of side 1, causing a couple of slight clicks at the very end of track five and as the last track is starting, and then a handful of quiet hardly noticeable clicks during this last track. On the first track of side two near the start are a couple of seconds of distortion and two skips. Bearing this in mind i would have to grade the vinyl as 'good' condition, even though the faults are very short lived and the majority of the record plays very nicely.
Sleeve in very good+ condition with just mild general wear and some slight discolouring. Spines are clean and in shape with no splits. No writing or stickers.
Inner sleeve in very good condition with no edge splits.
