Description
When Elasticas’ debut album was released, they decided to release a limited issue vinyl which included a “catalogue” and a flexidisc.The album design was based on Adam and the ants “kings of the wild frontier” album, which included an ants catalogue. The design of the Elastica catalogue is taken directly from that.
The flexidisc features a cover version of Cleopatra which appeared on The original Adam and the ants album. Justine was a huge Adam Ant fan, hence the ‘tribute’ to him. I have included two pictures of the Adam ant catalogue as a reference ????
What makes this vinyl special is that it includes a misprint on the label.the single “waking up” replaces “line up” as the first track on side 1 ,and also appears on side 2 in its correct place as track 3. Not many of the misprinted copies turned up, so this is very rare. This is numbered 06682.
I am not a record collector,this is from my personal collection.
It has been played, and is in excellent condition.it shows no heavy usage ,just a few hairline marks. It does have a bit of surface dust after being stored away,but will be cleaned before it’s sent out the best I can.
The record sleeve it self does show wear on the corner and along the top,but there are no tears and is fully intact and sturdy.it is clean and no marks or soiling .
It will be sent securely through Royal Mail special delivery in a special vinyl package .The delivery charge cost has been calculated from the Royal Mail website .
This is a great opportunity to purchase a great britpop album, and is rare to still exist with the misprint plus the limited edition issue.The Adam Ant connection is nice too for the Adam fans.
As I said I am not a record collector so I will charge want I think is a fair price, from doing my research .
