Description
* * * Please note, I am being very conservative with my grading, I want you to be happy. :-)
This is my second copy of -
LOOS FOOS & FIBERGLASS CORNFLAKE who are best known for 'Bless Me Father’
which is a cool psychedelic song with, distorted guitar
and wah wah and some amazing fuzz.
This song has turned up on the CD only ‘A Fistful Of Fuzz’ compilation in the late 90s.
Both songs were written by R. Sousa who I met many years ago in Pawtucket, R.I.
I got this 45 from him way back then when we met.
* * * The 45 is in good + condition; the label is very good and the sleeve is
the generic white one it came with.
These 45s may have been made using 'regrind' vinyl, but I'm not sure. Regrind being literally reground vinyl lps and 45s where the entire pressing, label and all, is ground up and reused for new records. This inferior vinyl can cause a crackling sound that has nothing to do with the condition of the Lp or 45.
It's been a very long time since I got this 45 so it I can't remember
if it's made of regrind or not.
My grading is by eye since I don't currently own a turntable.
There's a bit of dust and smudges on the 45 that you might be able to see in the pictures, and a few scuffs here and there. My guess is that I'll play through w/o popping, (unless
it's made of the regrind I mentioned in which case it may crackle),
but that's not a guarantee, just a guess.
I have a bunch of 45s, Lps and Boston Punk ephemera, fanzines,
like Hard Korps and Miscarriage Magazine, etc, that I'll be selling.
This includes The Lyres 45 "Don't Give It Up Now" b/w
"How Do You Know".
I also have DMZ, Lyres, The Mighty Ions, Classic Ruins, Prime Movers
and The Legendary Keith Bowneice live tapes from 1977, 1979, 1982, 1983, etc.
Then there's the Sperm Bank Babies, aka Al Lorenzo Drake, aka Willie Loco Axelander LP, and so on.
The pictures show a very small samping of what I have.
This listing is for the Loos Foos 45 only of course.
If you're outside the lower 48 contiguous states the shipping will be higher
so please contact me before buying.
Thanks for looking!
