VG++ glossy, clean, with light indications of use. still plays well. nice record
VG+  slightly more wear. light hairline, or very light scuffing. still nice: clean, glossy (not junk!)
VG  light scratches and/or scuff more pronounced. will still play well with light surface noise. clean. glossy.
