A very rare and over the top concept album with room for a little bit of everything, including some rather mindblowing electronic music. the description by the excellent seller pastafrolla is too good to pass up, so here it is: “original italian pressing on compagnia italiana del suono label (t/s 71158), from circa 1969. stunning conceptual soundtrack for l'oreal possibly created for an ad campaign / fashion show / design exhibition or just as a private gift for employees. the title track la nuova dimensione will really appeal to early electronic library collectors and italian funky prog loving djs as the music and sound fx are out-of-this-world! expect a bizarre long intro of dark electronics and spoken word before changing into a wild progressive funk workout. massive sounding breaks one after another and rumoured to be the richard last group but this is unconfirmed. angola adeus is a sublime bossa jazz scat theme from riusciranno i nostri eroi... by armando trovajoli with dubbed in, husky spoken word monologue in italian. think nino nardini exotic jazz meets les baxter with male vocal harmony. voom voom is another killer example of psychedelic funk featuring distorted fuzz / phased instrumentation / flute and funky hammond. this track is actually by a post beat i ragazzi del sole. capelli al vento by happy ruggiero is an ultra-dreamy and sexy soundtrack style theme with giallo thriller ambiance.lots of glistening 'treated' electric piano motifs/groovy hammond and jazzy instrumentation.” ****** PLEASE CHECK THE ACTUAL SHIPPING RATES: unregistered priority mail is about 9 dollars to europe and 13 dollars to the rest of the world (except for oceania where it is 17 dollars), while registered airmail is about 18 dollars to europe and 25 dollars to the rest of the world (except for oceania where it is 33 dollars). winning multiple items can make you save on postage. preferred payments is paypal, although other options may be available.
