Description
American country artist Loretta Lynn released 86 singles during her career. Her debut single was "I'm a Honky Tonk Girl" in March of 1960 with Zero Records. She had signed a contract with Zero Records in January of 1960. She promoted the record with her husband by driving from radio station to radio station, the effort paid off when it peaked at number fourteen on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The record features “I’m a Honky Tonk Girl” on one side and “Whispering Sea” on the other.
This copy of the record is in what I consider VG condition, although rating is a very subjective thing when it comes to used records. This particular record has seen considerable play and has some minor scuffs and blemishes (which I’ve attempted to show in the pictures), but it plays clearly on both sides with only minor occasional noise. There are no skips in the play and the record is free of cracks or chips.
Look closely at the pictures, they tell you more about the record than I can. This is a great copy of the record that launched Loretta Lynn’s extremely successful career and will make a wonderful addition to your collection. The record pictured is the one you will receive.
