NOTHING WENT RIGHT / Golden Slipper Strut - DJ PROMO (LAURIE 3193) Out of New York, this 1964 release is in reality a demo recording written by Ellie Greenwich and Mark Barkan with MISS GREENWICH on vocals. Although the record never saw the light of day, it's no wonder that this demo was released as is under a fictitious name as it is a so perfect, Girl Group tune. Ellie double tracks the lead vocals and then does the same for the background vocals to perfection. What a talent this womas is. The flip side, is another demo with another unknown black girl group on vocals. The labels and viny of this disc are a flawless, NM.
