El Golpeador (The Rapper) b/w Mujer Americana (American Woman)
Original, 1st and only pressing released in 1970 on Disc Jockey, Argentina. Obscure band from the underground Rioplatense scene which split after releasing a couple of singles. The A-side opens with a cover version of The Jaggerz's The Rapper (whose voice reminds me of Dan McCafferty from Nazareth), while the flipside features a cover version of The Guess Who's American Woman (another one from South America!). Always in want-lists, this is a nice chance to add it to your 45s collection. There is NO reserve, so please bid accordingly!
