The group of Luco Nelly (vocals), Orlando Muñoz (guitar), Pascual Rojas (vocals) and Ronnie Medeiros (vocals), appears in the Chilean music scene in 1964, ranking among the Neofolklore and New Chilean song, and adopting a name that reflected the reality of the group at that time: four musicians, four Chileans.
Soon highlight in the music scene by developing a style and mark the difference by integrating music and poetry, which later was known as "cultural folklore."
Los Cuatro de Chile are responsible for providing to the Chilean musical tradition, classics like " Romance of boat and rush "and" Lest I forget , "both Oscar Castro poems belonging to the album Tribute to Oscar Castro, published in 1971 Arancibia Ariel arrangements and vocal collaboration of actors and Héctor Humberto Duvauchelle.
With this disk the Chilean poet's love affairs became known to much of the country and continent.
In 1973 the group disbanded, each taking separate paths integrated.
