Description
This record is extremely rare. It is by the guitarist from the Jockers, he just did one solo album in 1973. The only reference on the internet is the inclusion on the Sublieme frequencies compilation called: Latinamericarpet: Exploring the Vinyl Warp of Latin American Psychedelia, Vol. 1.
Record is in good condition and the sleeve is in EX- condition. Original Chilean pressing on the Odeon label from 1973.
Here is a review of the Latinamericarpet: Exploring the Vinyl Warp of Latin American Psychedelia, Vol. 1 from allmusic.com:
There's a distinct difference between psychedelic music and tunes that are simply strange, but that distinction seems to have escaped the folks at Sublime Frequencies who compiled this collection of Latin American aural oddities. While the screaming slide guitar that opens "Mama Loo/Ata una Cinta Alrededor del Viejo Roble" by Sergio Del Rio y Su Conjunto might sound pretty trippy, once the tune shifts into a cover of "Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree," it's obvious this is just easy listening that took a wrong turn somewhere.
