As unlikely as it seems, one of the absolute best pre-FABS era surf/frat/instro r&r Lp's came from Philadelphia's Main Line & by private school bluebloods no less. They can really play & prove it by making what were the usual run-thrus impossible to sit still with - "Raunchy", "Wild Weekend", "Movin' & Groovin', "Walk Like A Man", a spooky "Green Onions" + 9 more that end w/their 4+ min orig "Race Riot" blowout that nothing else by anyone in the scene came close to matching. It's got an incredible band pic for the front cover too - these future lawyers, Dr.s, political/commercial bigwigs w/their instruments & a small clapboard playhouse w/one of 'em on the roof, another hanging out of a window w/yet anothers' foot on his head & one of the guitarists looking like you just know he'd made a lot of trips to the Principals Office....

EX/G > The Disc has a bunch of lines tho for the most part plays VG. The beginning of the sides & the quiet "Walk Like A Man" are where you'll notice it the most. The Cover has seamsplits - a 5" one at the top opening, 1" one at bottom opening & a 4" one bottom center/lite heavy ringwear onback & front top/lite medium coverwear back/miraculously the front is real nice....what few copies of this that've turned up since the late 80's have looked like they've had quite a life.

Grading is Cover/Record. Discs are carefully graded; machine cleaned, played & viewed under direct bright light. The highest grade I use for played Lp's is M- = played, perfect (few really qualify for this grade), then > EX+ = has no more than 2 hairline marks that do nothing, EX = plays M- with cosmetic/visual imperfection(s) (most Lp's are this grade), VG = slight imperfections/surface noise that will bother only those looking for disappointment - it means VERY GOOD, G = noisier tho still enjoyable & nowhere near trashed - it means GOOD. Any flaws on the disc, cover or labels will be noted.

Over the years, my grades have been called whacked, surreal & too much among other things. They've been toned down for these listings compared to my catalogue tho still enable you to know exactly what to expect when opening up a box from me. A recent feedback described them as ultra conservative so go with that; it might also reassure anyone skeptical of VG actually meaning VERY GOOD.

Many 60's Lp's were pressed very well & can look gruesome yet still play close to, if not M- & on some titles this must be taken into consideration. If an entire pressing for a title is substandard & likewise if a label is known for this it will be noted but doesn't factor into the grade. Many local/small label/private Lp's aren't high-tech & have noise, pops, etc...Vinyl discolorations don't lower a grade either (CAPITOL early 70's discs are the worst for this).

SEALED Lp's will be opened & checked if desired after payment is received & if it's the wrong Lp inside or obviously defective you'll get an immediate refund. I can't offer that recourse if you want the Lp sent sealed.

All orders within the U.S.A. must be insured for the winning amount & Overseas orders sent Registered Mail - with one exception. I'm sorry for this but unfortunately a small tho growing number of buyers are putting in false claims with Paypal for any number of frivolous/dishonest reasons. Paypal usually sides with the buyer and this results in the seller being out both merchandise and money. Insured or Registered Post offer tracking numbers which Paypal requires as proof of sending and is one of the few recourses offered to the seller. Registered & Insured Post over $200 also require the buyers signature so claims of never having received something can be alleviated.

For Overseas Items that cost under $50 I couldn't justify an additional $11 charge so the exception mentioned above is this:
It is your choice whether to opt for having the item sent Registered Post. I will always have proof of the item being sent, but if the parcel is lost or damaged, I'm not held responsible nor will the item be replaced or refund issued.

Any payments received before an invoice is sent will be refunded.

Bidding on an item constitutes your agreement with these terms.

This is a case of a few spoiling things for many. I hope you understand.

If you opt for Media Mail please don't start sending me angry & nasty messages or threaten to begin a Paypal dispute after a week has gone by & your Lp hasn't arrived yet. Being an economy rate, it does not get priority attention once in the postal system & can take time reaching its' destination. If you'd rather not wait more than a few days for something to arrive once sent you'll be much happier going with Priority Mail.
