MEGARARE and Hard-To-Find original Sono Radio Records very first Mono press released, made and distributed in Perú in 1967 by Sono Radio Records, catalog number 12655, with hand etched matrix numbers 12655 A in Side A and 12655 B in Side B, with traditional golden/black Sono Radio Records labels of the period and large center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from South America!!!

“C'era Un Ragazzo Che Come Me Amava I Beatles E I Rolling Stones” was originally written and released by Italian Singer Gianni Morandi in 1966 in Italy and this Peruvian band released a Spanish-sung version in 1967, with song “The More I See You”, originally released by Harry James And His Orchestra in 1945 in USA. Song titles are written in Spanish only with the text -in Spanish- “Rights Available To The Author” as credits in Side A and full credits for songwriters in Side B, with additional information of the style of each song, “Go Go”. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PERUVIAN PRESS of this single by Los Steivos, almost never seen and maybe auctioned here in eBay by the very first time, considered one of the best Garage/Proto-Punk Rock music of Peru and South America. A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Los Steivos, Los Saicos, Gianni Morandi and South American Garage/Beat/Proto-Punk music of the ‘60’s!!! WOW!!!

This record comes with the original generic IEMPSA Records paper sleeve and it’s in VG+ or EX- condition both sides, with light ring marks, some age browning and creases and little rips, one of them big, with some wear in all edges, more evident in corners and in the mouth edge, with all the seams solid and intact, which’s really a miracle for this so fragile kind of paper sleeve. The record is in EX- or EX condition both sides, glossy and clean, with some soft scuffs and light hairlines, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play at all. Labels are in nice VG+ or EX- condition both sides, clean and clear, with some spindle hole wear, age browning and rounded wear around the spindle hole, more evident in Side B. The sound is in strong NM- or even NM condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise, with only some occasional and barely audible soft crackles, more evident in the last seconds of each song, which don’t really cause major distraction from the still loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, this is a great record in this MEGARARE ORIGINAL PERUVIAN VERY FIRST PRESS of Los Steivos, one of the most important Peruvian rock bands, similar to Los Saicos, also considered a Proto-Punk band, with a nice glossy look, clean and clear labels and superb sound quality after about 54 years, which won’t disappoint anyone and will satisfy any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity this Peruvian single!!! We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending on thickness of the vinyl)

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.
