LOU DONALDSON "SWING AND SOUL" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1566.  Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp from 1957.  Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels.  The label is Deep Groove on both sides with the "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Lou Donladson/alto sax; Herman Foster/piano; 'Peck' Morrison/bass; Dave Bailey/drums; Ray Barretto/conga.  The vinyl is in VG+ condition.  Although there are some visible surface scratches/sleeve marks, the vinyl still maintains nice gloss.  Plays with low crackling that, while certainly audible, never overwhelms the sound.  The thick cardboard cover is in VG+ shape and displays nicely.  There are NO significant seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Owner name written several times on front & back.  Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Dorothy; I Won't Cry Any More; Herman's Mambo; Peck Time; There Will Never Be Another You; Groove Junction; Grits And Gravy.
