Description

1977 SMH Records A-1001, this is an original pressing - NOT A REISSUE - of the incredibly rare Lou Ragland LP "Lou Ragland Is The Conveyor".  8 song LP has a couple of killer northern soul cuts and some great sweet soul to boot.  Cover is VG++, with what looks to be a "W" and "LOO" written on top right hand corner of front.  There is some rubbing wear on the "L".  There is also a white stain on top front as well, which looks like a fine line of paint.  Otherwise, jacket is handsome and clean with no splits and shows just a hint of handling wear.  Side one of the record is shiny and clean VG+++, just a shade below NM-, with a few minor paper marks and superficial surface marks.  None affect playback.  Side 2 has a few more visible surface marks (maybe about 6),  but none are feelable and none affect play.  This side is also shiny and clean, grading about VG++.  Labels are crisp and clean as well with no writing.  Playback is nice throughout, with the occasional hint of background crackle.  This being a 70's private press, that is most likely exactly how it sounded out of the package.  The best - okay, to be honest the ONLY original pressing - copy of this LP I have ever seen.  Buyer pays $6 shipping in the US, $12 airmail overseas.  I accept Paypal, US Postal Money orders, and well concealed US Dollars.  Thanks for looking and good luck!
