Lou Reed signed this Transformer 33 LP for me at of all places The Los Angeles Times Book Festival on the UCLA Campus. My brother was a huge fan of "Walk on the Wild Side". I always would show up at the weirdest places to get presents for him. My brother was really excited that Lou Reed and Hunter Thompson was coming to Vassar College. Both times they never showed up. Gee what a coincident. So unlike them. Our head of Entertainment, Lloyd Braun had a huge rant going about how Lou Reed would never play again as he did not know who Lloyd was. Lou Reed claims his guitar never arrived from Europe. Later we would learn that he was at what we call a "Betty Ford" clinic.   I purchased this Album and another new from Amoeba Records in Hollywood. I only opened them up if Lou Reed actually did come. He did and was fun to talk to especially when he heard my sister was named Holly and she hated that song what with all the cranking up of it to get her going. I was really shocked to read that it was produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson. I am putting both of Bill's signed Albums by Lou Reed as it is too painful to keep seeing how both Lou Reed and my brother died at the end of 2013.
