I've liked this group since I was a kid in the eighties. I remember when everyone was into Metallica I was looking for rock/metal that was off the beaten path. I really found what I was looking for with Loudness. Lightning strikes was the first cassette album I purchased from these guys. I really can't say enough about their guitar skills, and who would have thought lyrics, but yes they had awesome songs with killer lyrics and they were never sloppy. They were technical wizards with guitars and drums, way ahead of there time and very under rated. Some people would argue that their Japanese accents got in the way but I am telling you, I think it makes them unique. Still love these guys to this day!
