Hobo You Can’t Ride This Train
That’s My Home
RECORD DATE : December 8, 1932

There were few bands as joyous as Louis Armstrong's. He not only embraced jazz, but with his vocals in the mix (a rarity at the time) he pushed the barriers way back with scat singing that was streets ahead of all others.
On this session for Victor you get a great vocal from Satch on the song “Hobo You Can’t Ride This Train.” Dig that spoken intro with the sound effects – that’s a great number! Hobo – you can’t ride this train !
On the flip is “That’s My Home.” Both are from a session on December 8, 1932 with a band that included both Mezz Mezzrow and Chick Webb.
