Description
I'll be listing some great stuff over the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out. I'm mad about music so everything listed has been played all the way through (at least once!). I do try and describe every record in as much detail as relevantly possible and will not ignore/overlook flaws in order to hike up the price! My top grade is Excellent +++ and this is for a basically almost perfect record (rest assured anything I grade at Excellent or above would probably be graded as MINT by a lot of other sellers)...records in this sort of condition do not come along that often, so I'm surprised to see so many graded as Mint or Near Mint (!!!????) which are mainly completely misleading. Even with new vinyl, as soon as you drag the vinyl out of it's sleeve those annoying hairline scratches appear and sometimes worse and even the packaging has wear/flaws. Anyway, I do pride myself in being as honest as possible and think if I was buying this record what would I want to know.
Extremely hard to find in this condition LOVE "Love" 1966 US Elektra Records EKL-4001 STEREO 14 track LP featuring classics such as the brilliant "My little red book", "My flash on you" and "Gazing"....could be regarded as Arthur Lee and Love's finest hour...psych garage classics performed in Love's own inimitable style! An excellent US copy at a fraction of the price of it's UK counterpart!
Condition
Sleeve
The thick card sleeve is in superb condition with superb vivid colours with very little wear to mention of........just a very very slight bit of ringwear at the bottom of the front sleeve and again even lighter in the same place on the back sleeve, very very slight wear on the top and bottom edge, a couple of very slight creases towards the spine edge. The sleeve does have a clean cut out bottom right corner. The sleeve still has superb sharp edges, excellent opening edges, very good corners and a superb square spine which is still perfectly readable....these American sleeves really do stand the test of time well! Overall I grade the sleeve as Very Good+++ (if not better)(graded properly)
Vinyl
The record is in great condition and plays all the way through without skips,jumps,hiss,pops, with little or no background noise but with the faint occasional click. There are a few surface marks and some hairline marks/scuffs when viewed at an angle under a bright light.None of which detract the listening pleasure, Overall I grade the vinyl as Very Good++ (if not better)(graded properly).
Labels
The big E red Elektra labels are in Excellent condition with a few faint spindle marks.
