TITLE: “FOUR SAIL”
PRESSING: 1969 Original very early “FIRST” Pressing STEREO LP
CATALOG #: ELEKTRA EKS 74049
LABELS: Super clean “GOLD (Tan)” labels with large stylize “E” at the top.
Comments: Goldmine indicates “First” Pressings copies of this LP have RED labels with large stylize “E” at the top, as are all the copies I have ever seen or owned. Extremely RARE LP to locate in pristine condition, especially with the “Gold (Tan)” label variation.
CONDITION ( Please refer to Grading Standards below)
COVER: NrMT-
Comments: Extremely clean “pastedown” cover displays sharp vivid colors with the shrink wrap intact. There are No marks or writing, No stains, No seam splits, and No bar codes. There is a small discount hole in the upper left corner and ever so slight corner wear. There is also light creasing in the upper right corner of the “back” side of the cover only, in proximity to the discount hole (see photographs). Noted flaws are very minor and mentioned for accuracy.
VINYL: Side 1 NrMT- Side 2 NrMT+
Comments: Full original gloss “thick” vinyl with only a few minor rubs and insignificant faint hairlines (No scratches), mainly seen on side 1 under bright light from sliding in and out of the original inner sleeve. The vinyl plays beautifully throughout the recording!
INNER SLEEVE: Original and correct “customized” ELEKTRA inner sleeve used by the company at the time of release of this LP. The inner sleeve is in NrMT condition with No rips or tears and No seam splits.
Comments: “First” pressing “thick” vinyl copies of this popular LP are extremely difficult to locate in pristine condition and rarely, if ever, seen with the Gold (Tan) labels!! LP features several classic Love tracks including “Good Times”, “Singing Cowboy”, “Robert Montgomery” and “I’m With You.”
I am very conservative with my grading. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle. All of my LPs come with a protective poly album sleeve and will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard LP mailer, tightly wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection.

VG Moderate shelf wear, light to moderate ring wear
VINYL
MINT Absolutely no marks on the vinyl surface, rarely used grade
NrMT+ Very faint rub or two with no surface marks
NrMT No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few extremely faint, inaudible hairlines or a paper scuff seen only under very bright light
NrMT- No scratches or spindle marks – may have a few light, inaudible hairlines seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the inner paper sleeve
VG+ No scratches, may have a spindle mark – light inaudible hairlines and/or paper scuffs will be present, which do not affect play or overall quality of the recording
VG May have a scratch deep enough to feel with a fingernail, but no skips – several hairlines and needle trails will be present which do not affect overall playprice rating
