Description

Up for auction is a beautiful original press of Love's 1967 psych masterpiece "Forever Changes". This version has the tan/brown Elektra label with no Love logo on the label. 
LP: NM-.  Side 1 has a tiny nonfeelable scuff across "A House Is Not A Motel" Otherwise I see next to no marks.                  Side 2 has 1-2 micro mark (looks to be a sleeve) but otherwise looks very nice - very hard to see, only under strong light.
The LP overall exempting the tiny mark on Side 1 looks unplayed/brand new with beautiful sheen. I sampled a little bit of it and it plays quiet.  I've owned maybe 4 copies of this LP and it's by a wide margin the best one I've ever seen -  looks like it was barely ever played, if ever. Grooves seem a lot wider than the Allentown press I've decided to hold onto.   Matrix numbers: I'm having trouble figuring out this exact pressing even using Discogs, as I know the 1st presses all have subtle but important differences. It doesn't appear to be a Monarch, CTH or Allentown press!  Matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1: EKS 74013A -1A (Machine Stamped)   1 T S (or C T 2, Can't completely read it)  There looks to be a separate A1A near the big E as well. Side 2: EKS 74013B -1A (Machine Stamped)   1 T S (or C T 2, again can't fully see it, very small print) There looks to be a separate A1A2 near the big E.
Cover: EX.  There is a bit of light ringwear and corner bumping, as well as a pricetag sticker mark but otherwise has aged very well.  Most of the white cover is very bright. See pics for more details. No Stereo sticker as some copies have, says "Made in USA" in bottom of back cover.  I can take more pictures if you are curious. 
I know it is hard to list a NM- record, especially one with such dynamics, but I strongly believe it is. If you dispute my grading or are unsatisfied, I will offer a full refund upon return of the lp, but I will not go back and forth about condition minutiae.  Let me know if you have any questions!
