Up for auction at NO RESERVE is "Forever Changes" by Love on the Gold Elektra label, catalog #EKS-74013.

This one was sealed when I bought it. It felt heavy and has the thick old cover and vintage price sticker, but I wasn't sure if it was a gold label or a vintage red label.....I carefully slit the shrink a little bit to see if there was an old brown Elektra inner sleeve. There wasn't.....just a plain old inner sleeve. I thought that this meant a red label for sure, but just in case, I grabbed my camera to photograph the opening. I'm glad I did! When I slid it out, what I found was an un-played original pressing of what I (and many others) consider to be the best rock record of all time. At the very least, it's in the top 5, and this one is absolutely perfect.

The cover is NM in the shrinkwrap. The corners are nice and tight and the whites are as white as a fresh snowfall with eye-popping psychedelic colors. Even the shrinkwrap is perfect all the way around. This HAS to be the finest copy in the world. I carefully slid the LP out of the inner sleeve to verify that it wasn't re-sealed and there are NO defects. It is absolutely perfect...like a mirror. I have placed a reserve on this since it is my favorite. I have seen a few copies sell for more than my reserve, so I don't think it is unreasonable (2 sealed ones sold for around $600 and there is no guarantee that those were gold labels and my reserve is much less). You really won't find anything wrong with this one. It is mind boggling.

Shipping is $7.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the US or Airmail to Canada. For domestic packages, Media rate is available for $4.00, but NOT recommended (eBay forces me to offer some level of domestic service for $4 or less, but it is not a level of service I would consider unless you want your fragile LP being crushed by boxes of heavy books! Everyone will be sent an invoice including Priority Mail charges. If you need worse service, just ask and I'll send you a new invoice with Media Rate charges.)

Shipping is $14.00 via First Class International to Europe, the UK, Japan, Asia and Australia. International orders that total over $200 must be shipped via Priority Mail international and those rates start at $24. All packages over 4 lbs are automatically Priority Mail. So, once you win 5 or more (sometimes 4 if they are heavy) your charges may seem high. I do not usually make any money on shipping and there is NO cheaper way to ship larger orders.
