RECORD CONDITION: NEAR MINT
I feel certain that this album can only have been played one or two times, it has really remained so pristine that it is practically 'as new'. The record has the pristine sheen of a new disc, it is entirely without blemish, even faint paper scuffs are hard to find. A strong light shows that this disc is indeed, almost totally unmarked and also, there are no manufacturers defects in the vinyl. It is clean and perfect, if only they all came like this. The label is totally unblemished and the spindle wear here is firm proof that this album has been played very little, here again one or two plays would appear to be the maximum we are talking about. The needle plays through the outer groove in complete and utter silence, making way for a crystal clear sound quality all the way through. I don't think I heard a pop or click during my entire play-grade, and the audio clarity is compelling, presenting thisclassic music of Arthur Lee in the most enhancing way imaginable.
COVER CONDITION: EXCELLENT
This gatefold sleeve that has managed to keep itself clear of any major damage, it is fully intact and looks great. The main factors in considering the grade were, a little light scuffing around the corners, along with a few other small light scuffs on the top and bottom and bottom edges. The spine has clearly legible text but there is some light creasing here as well. This is all fairly standard wear and tear for a record cover that has been used in a collection for 34 years. In fact, taking that into consideration, this cover is in marvellous condition. In short, a little light early stage wear that hasn't developed into serious damage, a good looking piece!
