Condition:
Vinyl: VG+ Besides a couple of light paper scuffs, this record is beautiful! There is a small punch hole in the Label, otherwise it's perfect! See pictures.

Here's a record that will need little introduction for Garage Rock enthusiasts. Love's "My Little Red Book" is a Garage Punk classic and a necessity for any serious collector!
Released in March 1966, the A-Side was a small hit (mostly in Los Angeles), featuring (unbelievably) a Bacharach/David composition remade into a garage landmark. It might be a rock legend, but I've read recently that Dionne Warwick did not cover this song because she heard the Arthur Lee version and didn't think she could top it!
The B-Side is no slouch either-- the best ballad from Love's first LP, the All Music Guide describes it thusly:
"One of the finest-crafted songs on Love's debut album, "Message to Pretty" is an excellent example of Arthur Lee's growth as a songwriter. Lee was obviously smitten with the Byrds (and particularly Gene Clark's introspective ballad sense), and this slightly psychological study into his own mind was an area that he would return to often in more elaborate compositions later. But this is certainly a prototype."
For those of you familiar only with the later "Forever Changes" LP, you are missing out on a whole bunch of great songs these giants recorded prior to the Summer of Love... This one makes a perfect addition to any 45 collection or especially DJ SET! Don't miss your chance to catch such a clean copy!
